Typical Configurations for the Trailblazer
# 1
Typical 2-line extension to a single facility with the subscriber unit mounted on or near the facility. Both lines can transmit either voice or data.
# 2
Here the user's facility is up to 2 km from the subscriber unit, which is mounted at a more advantageous transmission site and connected by copper wire.
# 3
A digital regenerative repeater can be useful to get past a hill or other major obstacle. No loss of signal quality.
# 4
An optional high-gain external antenna can boost line of sight range substantially -- up to 80 km.
