VCS 1000 SERIES DIGITAL VIDEO ENCODER/DECODER Digital Compression & Transmission of Video Synchronous RS-422 Format
| The VCS-1000 Series Digital Video Encoder/Decoder provides digitized and compressed video in a synchronous EIA-422 format from 48 kbps to 2.5 Mbps. It is suitable for use in a T-1, fractional T-1, E-1 or fractional E-1 environments. The VCS-1000 series products are easily connected to network equipment having high-speed synchronous data interfaces. The synchronous RS-422 data format also allows compatibility with most EIA-530 and V.35 interface equipment. |
APPLICATIONS | - T1, fractional T1, E1, fractional E1 networks
- High speed digital backbones requiring low data rate digital video interface
- Remote video surveillance over telephone network
- Highway/traffic monitoring
- Mass transit systems
- Telemetry
- OEM Interfaces
