BreezeACCESS 900
The BreezeACCESS 900 Broadband Wireless Access system operates in the license-free 902-928 MHz band, delivering high-speed wireless Internet access. BreezeACCESS 900 solves the problem of providing coverage in non-line-of-site (NLOS), foliage-dense environments, which in many regions represent the majority percentage of revenue potential for high-speed Internet services. As part of the Complete Spectrum Solution™, this new platform enables service providers to reach new customers, enabling a significant increase in revenues.
BreezeACCESS 900 system includes both modular base station equipment and stand-alone access units providing all the functionality necessary to communicate with the subscriber units and to connect to the backbone of the service provider. Additionally, the BreezeACCESS 900 can be easily deployed without the cost of adding base station infrastructure because the system integrates easily with existing BreezeACCESS networks by leveraging available capacity from operational 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. With this exceptionally low initial investment, BreezeACCESS 900 is the ideal solution for new and existing operators wanting to build their customer base. Once the wireless infrastructure is in place, it can be scaled upward to support thousands of subscribers per cell.

Base Station Equipment
The BreezeACCESS 900 family includes a Base Station chassis and three types of Access Units with differing architectures:
Base Station Shelf with Access Unit Modules
The BS-SH Base Station chassis is a 19" chassis that contains up to seven (one redundant) BS-AU modules. The BS-AU Access Units can be synchronized to ensure optimal utilization of the frequency spectrum available. The BS-SH chassis contains one power supply with an alternative second power supply for redundancy. The BS-PS power supply modules are powered from a -48 VDC or 110/230 VAC power source.
The AU-E-BS 900 Access Unit model is comprised of an indoor module (BS-AU) and an AU-RE outdoor unit, which contains a radio module and an RF connector for a separate external antenna (the external antenna is sold separately to the unit).
The AU-E-BS unit is available with 24dBm (HP-High Power), output power at the antenna port. A coaxial cable connects the indoor module to the outdoor unit and serves for the transmission of signals as well as for transferring power, management and control signals from the indoor module to the outdoor unit. Connectivity to the network is established through a standard IEEE 802.3 Ethernet 10BaseT (RJ 45) interface.
Stand-Alone “Micro-Cell” Access Units
The Stand-Alone Access unit enables the coverage of a small customer base or an area with low customer density. The AU-E-NI-900 is comprised of an indoor stand-alone unit, which connects to an outdoor unit. The indoor part of the Access Unit, the AU-NI, is a stand-alone desktop or wall-mountable unit. In the AU-E-NI outdoor unit contains a radio module and an RF connector for a separate external antenna (the external antenna is sold separately to the unit).
The AU-E-NI unit is available with 24dBm (HP-High Power) output power at the antenna port.

Customer Premises Equipment
The Subscriber Unit (SU) installed at the customer premises enables the customer data connection to the Access Unit (AU).
The Subscriber Unit provides an efficient platform for high speed Internet and Intranet services. The use of packet switching technology provides the user with a connection to the network that is always on, enabling immediate access to services.
The SU-I-1D-900 miniature Subscriber Unit is designed for desktop or wall-mounted installation. It supports a single Ethernet device and connects to the customer's data equipment via a standard IEEE 802.3 10Base-T (RJ-45) interface. The unit is powered from the 110/220 VAC mains. It has one RF connector for an indoor or outdoor antenna.
BreezeACCESS 900 Indoor Unit
The miniature indoor units, designed primarily for indoor installations, are comprised of a single desktop or wall-mountable unit that connects to an indoor (UNI-7-900) or outdoor (UNI-10-900) antenna.
| | Cell Extender SeriesA cell extender (CX) enables capacity from a primary cell to be redistributed economically to another area. Functionally, it can be thought of as a repeater, but with the added benefit that it can also serve as a local subscriber, thus generating its own revenue. Cell extenders are available in many versions, including models that convert frequencies to enable multi-band layering of micro cells. Applications for cell extenders include cell extension, secondary frequency underlay, and/or filling of coverage gaps within a primary cell.
