SDT-3 LINE DRIVER An effective low-cost solution for local synchronous data network applications, the SDT-3 Line Driver transmits data at speeds up to 19.2Kbps. The SDT-3 operates at full or half duplex mode over a 4-wire circuit and can be multi-dropped in a multi-point system configuration. It is transparent to data, and can transmit and receive all protocols. It can be programmed for internal, external, or loop clocking. Using 24 AWG twisted pair wire, you can transmit from 2.8 to 7.5 miles, depending on speed. The SDT-3 interface is a RS232 (DB25 female) connector. Also available is the SDT-3/ERO option for extended ranges. ADT-3 LINE DRIVER The ADT-3 Asynchronous Line Driver is designed to provide error free transmission over unloaded metallic pairs or in-house cabling at speeds up to 19.2Kps. Operating distance from 2.0 miles to 8.5 miles, depending on speed. The ADT-3 operates full duplex over 4-wire circuits and is fully transparent enabling the use of all asynchronous devices on the system. The ADT-3 interface is an RS-232 (DB25 female) connector.
