Waveguide exhibits lower signal attenuation than some of the thickest RF coaxial cable for a given frequency and length. For long transmission lines at higher microwave frequencies, the use of waveguide is suggested when possible. However, our millimeter wave radio systems (18-38 GHz) use separate RF heads and do not require elliptical waveguide. Thus, "IF" frequencies are transmitted and received from the RF unit (ODU). Choose an elliptical waveguide based on the microwave frequency:
WE30/WEP30 (2.3-3.1 GHz)
WE37/WEP37 (3.4-4.2 GHz)
S-WE46/S-WEP46 (4.4-5.0 GHz)
WE61/WEP61 (5.600-6.425 GHz)
WE65/WEP65 (5.725-7.125 GHz)
WE78/WEP78 (7.125-8.500 GHz)
WE108/WEP108 (10.5-11.7 GHz)
WE130/WEP130 (10.95-13.25 GHz)
WE150/WEP150 (13.40-15.35 GHz)
WE191/WEP191 (17.7-19.7 GHz)
