BreezeNET PRO.11 is a complete line of plug-and-play wireless Ethernet
products that enable mobile computing while eliminating the trouble and expense of
cabling. BreezeNET PRO.11 offers all of the functionality of Ethernet,
providing user-friendly and trouble-free installation in a familiar environment. BreezeNET
PRO.11 delivers a fast rate of up to 3 Mbps, with automatic fall-back to 2 Mbps
and 1 Mbps when necessary. In switched or larger networks with higher node densities, BreezeNET
PRO.11 products integrate easily utilizing multi-cell based WIX(tm) (Wireless
Switching) architecture. With up to 15 co-located cells per domain, BreezeNET PRO.11
delivers aggregate throughputs of up to 15 Mbps.
BreezeNET PRO.11 also delivers unmatched range and coverage, providing
reliable connectivity over distances in excess of 1000 m in open spaces, and from 60-200 m
in office environments. BreezeNET PRO.11 transmits data reliably at
traveling speeds in excess of 35 Km/h with its breakthrough " fast-roaming"
protocol. BreezeNET PRO.11's fast-roaming assures packet delivery and full
performance, enabling mobility while maintaining network connectivity in even the most
complex layouts.
BreezeNET PRO.11 can be integrated easily and transparently into any LAN
environment and is compatible with all major network operating systems. Any
Ethernet-equipped workstation can be connected with BreezeNET PRO.11,
including PCs, Macintosh and machine tools, servers, etc.
BreezeNET PRO.11 is the only wireless LAN product that connects X-Terminals,
UNIX hosts, as well as SUN, HP, DEC, IBM and other workstations. No additional software or
drivers are needed to install BreezeNET PRO.11.
BreezeNET PRO.11 has been developed in compliance with the IEEE 802.11
wireless LAN standard, which assures investment security and future inter-operability with
other standard-based wireless LAN products.
BreezeNET PRO.11 products use Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum radio
that operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band allowing license-free installations. BreezeNET
PRO.11's combination of advanced technology, antenna diversity, digital signal
