| Modem Eliminators are a smart, economical alternative to standard modem and data sets. A Modem Eliminator connects between two CPU's, Host Computers, PC's and/or Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) devices allowing them to communicate, while providing the necessary clock to simulate two modems back to back or DSU/CSU devices. All of DEI's Modem Eliminators are offered as Stand Alone versions or Rackmount versions. All rackmount versions are designed to fit into the UMC-3 or UMC-5. |

| DEI's ME-4 and ME-4R are T1/E1 Modem Eliminators that operate with fronts panel switchable speeds of T1(1.544Mbps) or E1(2.048Mbps). The ME-4 and ME-4R are made to connect any V.35 local Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) devices, full or half duplex, while providing clock and data from end to end. ME-4 and ME-4R directly replaces those back to back modems or DSU/CSU devices within standard cabling distances. |  |
| The ME-6 and ME-6R are single T2/E2 Modem Eliminators that transfers data between any two Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) devices allowing them to communicate while providing clock. Both the ME-6 and ME-6R are front panel switchable at T2(6.176Mbps) or E2(8.192Mbps). |
